FOUR local men have been remanded in custody after being charged with intentional grievous bodily harm on an Aberystwyth student found unconscious in a town centre street in January.
The Cambrian News reported “Four men will now appear in Swansea Crown Court on 11 May charged with grievous bodily harm with intent on Ifan Owens.
David Robert Lloyd, 25, of no fixed abode; Billy Michael Valentine, 19, of the Flat above the Vale of Rheidol, Terrace Road in Aberystwyth; Andrew Raymond John Scott, 23, of 16 Dolwyre in Llangwyryfon; and 20-year-old Lee Andersen-Warnes, of 7 Min y Dref in Newcastle Emlyn, are all charged with GBH with intent.
Lloyd is also facing a charge of possession of a knife.
No pleas have been entered and all four men were remanded in custody until the crown court hearing.
Ifan, 19, is still in hospital in Cardiff after he was attacked in the early hours of Sunday, 14 January.
Mr Owens was in a coma for four weeks after the incident where he was found unconscious in High Street. He was in intensive care and is awaiting a skull operation.
