A 63-year-old Penparcau man is to stand trial accused of making more than 2,000 indecent images of children.
The Cambrian News reported “William Charles Perkins, of Tremafon, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Friday before Judge Paul Thomas for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Perkins denied making 228 indecent images in the most serious category A, 259 in B and 1,658 in category C.
He also denied possessing 224 extremely pornographic images depicting people having sexual intercourse with animals.
Dean Pulling, prosecuting, said the charges related to dates between 13 May 2015 and 31 January 2017.
Perkins, who is on bail, was told a two-day trial would begin on 9 October” here.
