A Ceredigion housing association has received the gold award in the Corporate Health Standard run by the Welsh Government.
Cambrian News reported “The Corporate Health Standard initiative is a progressive program and the quality mark for workplace health promotion in Wales.
The standard is awarded as bronze, silver, gold and platinum categories to public, private and third sector organisations who implement practices to promote the health and well-being of their workforce.
“Tai Ceredigion’s health and well-being team have worked tirelessly over the last three years on behalf of their colleagues to achieve the Gold level accreditation,” said chief executive Steve Jones.
“This is an outstanding achievement and we are very proud of everyone who has been involved with the innovative and proactive approach Tai Ceredigion has towards the well-being of its staff.”
Kate Curran, group director of corporate services at Tai Ceredigion, is part of the team.
“It has been a great process drawing in colleagues from all department within the association,” she said.
“The award is recognition of the team’s hard work and commitment and the innovative way everyone has contributed to ensuring Tai Ceredigion is a great place to work.
“People are our main asset and we need to ensure that all the initiatives we offer will benefit members of staff.”
