A WOMAN who was the subject of a late night air, land and sea search in Aberystwyth this week has been found.
The Cambrian News reported “The Dyfed-Powys Police helicopter was out in the early hours of the morning of Wednesday, 9 May after responding to reports that 39-year-old Katherine Allen had not been seen for over 14 hours.
Aberystwyth lifeboats were also sent out to help on a coastline search, which proved fruitless.
Katherine had been last seen at approximately 9.10am on Tuesday, 8 May, but police announced in the last hour that she has been “found and is safe”.
Police thanked “the public for their support with the appeal and to our partner colleagues who have assisted us with the search” here.
