CAN you conquer Ceredigion and Big Welsh Walk Challenge?

The Cambrian News reported “Hundreds of people took on the challenge last year and conquered the landscapes of Ceredigion.

Back by popular demand, Ramblers Cymru is encouraging people to step up for the challenge this June.

Starting in Devil’s Bridge, near Aberystwyth on Saturday, 2 June, there are four walks to choose from, ranging from six to 20 miles.

Each route will give walkers the chance to experience the stunning landscapes, highlighting breath taking scenery along the way.

Ramblers Cymru director Angela Charlton said: “Our Big Welsh Walk has something to challenge everyone. Whether you’re new to walking and want to take on the six-mile challenge, whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings, or an experienced rambler racing to be the first person across the finish line on the 20-mile route.

“We’ve devised four different walks, taking people through open moorlands, along valley gorges and glaciated valleys and climbing high into the Cambrian Mountains – so your efforts are sure to be rewarded.

“Not only will you be challenging yourself to reach new heights, you’ll also be helping to raise funds to ensure incredible paths like these are well maintained for everyone to enjoy.”
